About Monster Musume Everyday Life with Monster Girls Blu-ray

Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls the complete collection contains episodes 1-12 of the anime directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, plus 2 OVAs.

No one expected the government to suddenly acknowledge the existence of demi-human species like harpies and centaurs, but when a careless Integration Agent shows up on Kimihito Kurusu's doorstep with an attractive Lamia in tow, he suddenly finds himself designated as a "Host Family". This might not be so bad, except that while Miia's top half is all girl and quickly develops a crush on her new human host, her snakelike bottom half makes that crush literal with a tendency to squeeze the life out of him! Plus, there's also the little problem that it's illegal for humans and non-humans to have THOSE kinds of relationships.

With woman-in-black Agent Smith always sniffing about for improprieties, things only get more hectic in the Kurusu household when bird-brained Papi the harpy and master-seeking centaur Centorea need places to roost and stable. As the house gets crowded with even more captivating cuties, can any human male survive under such tempestuous and tempting conditions?

Special Features: Music Videos, Japanese TV Spots & Promos, Outtakes, Almost Every Day! Shorts, Clean Opening Animation and Clean Closing Animation

Quick Look Review

by -

This series is about introducing monsters into modern society, and the hardships involved with it (human fears and political strife). The series is entertaining, but I feel their needed to be more plot... but then again, I don't necessarily watch this type of anime for the story line. Societal norms seem to be the overarching "villain" for Monster Musume.

Borders on too much fan service, but nice take on new monsters

by

If you enjoyed Rosario Vampire, you'll like this series also. The series has a lot of fan service and is heavily harem style. But it does disappoint in how short it is. It has a manga that accompanies the series. The concept has potential, but it did get annoying with some of the fan service. It was refreshing to see other monsters for once in anime instead of the usual suspects.

Lot of hype and that was it!

by

100% opposite of what I thought it was about. Thought it would be similar to Rosario/vampire or something! Title was very clear, just everyday life with nothing but fan service. Thoroughly disappointing in it, after so many raved about it!

Monster Musume Everyday Life With Monster Girls

A very cool series with some incredible characters (mostly demi-humans). Cool amounts of fan service but still fun to watch.

It starts with fanservice but ends with great and charmig characters

by

I went into this series knowing about its level of fanservice, but I also was told it’s very funny and charming too. I have to say, it’s that and more! The presentation is amazing and you really become interested in the daily lives of the characters. They are also well developed which makes their interactions with each other some of the best parts of the series. Lastly, the animation is really well done. I highly recommend this series but try buying it when it’s on sale since the series is just 14 episodes.

Fun with fan service

by -

A fun harem series with a LOT of fan service. It just pushes the edge of putting it on the hentai side. But beyond the fan service it has an engaging story and the protagonist is a nice guy. Well worth watching.

Monster Girls Are Here To Stay

by -

Monster Musume's target audience enjoys the harem element, fan service and the struggle of choosing a series 'best girl'. I know I did. Tatsuya Yoshihara's rendition of the manga by Okayado presents an enjoyable story drawn throughout 12 episodes containing enough to satisfy and entertain those invested in monster girls as well as those looking to broaden their horizons. With two accompanying OVA's that pull out all the stops in the animation department and a fun extras section, Monster Musume is certain to compliment a cultured individuals library.

Best Girl is always a Monster Girl!

This is perfect!! Who doesn't like everyday life with monster girls?! This release is perfect for any fan of the Monster Musume anime. And if your curious YES the OVA's are in fact dubbed as well as the monster shorts. This release impressed me tremendously and I would recommend it. Sentai Filmworks did a great job on the release.

Want more!

My husband and I loved this anime! It was really funny and addictive. The characters are really great! Lots of differences. All of the girls are very likeable. Its hard to just root for one! I wish there were more seasons, but I just ordered the 1st manga and will now be reading it! Waiting for my order to come in!

Fanservice fun, and rare cringe

by -

This is a show about fan service. Anyone saying otherwise is trying to cope.
That said, it's a great show, it is funny, it does have an interesting world, and everything really is put together nicely. It's perfect for what it is, and while most harem fanservice shows basically give up halfway, Monster Musume does not rest on it's laurels halfway through the season.

Now we're in for a treat!

by

The manga was what really got me into the world of monster girls and the anime just made me go gaga all over again. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it, but it’s also one of the “watch by yourself with headphones” kind of anime cause its pretty much borderline hentai. Harem anime can be hit or miss, but Monster Musume introduced something new and interesting that I couldn’t look away (in more ways than 1). The characters are lovable and you just want to root for all of them. My favorite is Centorea because she has a strong personality and sweet side when it comes to romance like hand holding, and other reasons of course. With any harem, you’re gonna find 1 or 2 you like and stick with them. The story is funny, sweet, interesting, and just overall enjoyable. And the theme songs are catchy too. If harem anime and lots of fan service turns you off then look away, but if you’re at all interested, I’d at least give this a chance. Who knows, it could awaken something new inside you.
