Great Retelling!

by -

I watched these movies right after watching the full tv series, and my god its such a better way to tell the story! the new animations are also amazing! and the ending is way better than the tv series! overall a great addition to any gundam collection

An ending the hero deserves

by -

Before going to the story, I'll go to the production values, there's some confusion with the character designs. It is obvious that from Z,ZZ and CCA, it was Hiroyuki Kitazume (of the original Urotsukidoji and SD Cavalry) who did the primary character designs with Yoshikazu Yasuhiko the concept art. Why nit picking? 'cause when you watched the newly rendered scenes, aside from resolution shift, the gorgeous scenes are noticeably different.

Storywise, this new take fixes some plotholes( explains how the 2 urchins got involved with Quattro) but omitted some scenes that would have been vital in understanding the flow of the story(Quattro's speech in Dakar for instance).

The Titans are the best case of presenting the adage the "Cure" is much worst than the "disease" aka the unquenchable thirst for freedom.

The ending, which I prefer though, kinda formulaic, gives Kamille the justice he deserves for all his sacrifices but will also nuke your brain once you watch ZZGundam lol!
