Gundam National Treasure?!

by -

I'd given this a five until I learned there's another"expanded" version of this? Curse you Bandai!

What's not to like? A fitting closure(?) of CCA and a great way to reintroduce new fans to the UC! Great production values, though CGI, it wasn't like the out of place style of SEED (Sunrise has struck a perfect balance). The Unicorn is a freaking BEAST! The latest incarnation of the UC is quite refreshingly new yet very familiar for old fans. The characters and plotline would better appreciated if you started with MS Gundam 0079 though (so keep on buying from The RightStuf folks).

So the Feds aren't as snow white as originally portrayed just as the Zeons not really monsters. The inclusion of the Char clone though was kinda cheesy and all that time, the UC was living under a lie? I guess telling one many times and people will believe one as truth or like maybe we all just want an orderly predictable world.

Now I wanna get myself a MG/PG Unicorn because of this!
