Such an amazing point of view and the animation is really good I really recommend this anime for anyone who enjoys the gundam series.
The Mindset of Char revealed!
by Mr Bond -
The beginning adventures of Char and Sayla gives these two characters in most of the Universal Century timeline their mindset and thought process of what they would do later on in the main Gundam series. You will see cameos of many other characters that either cameo'd, or gives side characters a more expanded background in the original Gundam series.
This should strongly be said that this is best seen AFTER watching the original Mobile Suit Gundam
Char at his finest

If you don't have time to read the excellent Gundam Origin manga (and you should!), this set of the first four OVAs is a fine substitute. It covers the extended flashback sequences showing Char and Sayla's tragic upbringing, and sheds more light on the history of Zeon's mobile suit program. The animation is just gorgeous, and you'll fall in love with those classic characters all over again!
Must-have for UC Gundam Fans

This almost makes me wish for a re-animated version of Original Gundam in this same style. The Origin features great modern animation detailing the early years of all our favorite Gundam 0079 characters and spells out details that were only alluded to in the original series. The series looks fantastic and it just makes me want to watch 0079 again.
