must see if you're a fan of gundam

I've never seen this one before , hard to find the movie, i'm sure it's one of best, the earlier series were much better because they fit the story lines unlike the newer ones that have different settings and they don't always end the same. the style of how they are directed makes a impact

Tomino's big cluster........

Back from my UC binge and this incarnation is one big mess. We all know that this was originally intended as a 40 something series but if I was given the power, Sunrise should have just deep six this.

A lot of interesting characters, great soundtrack and a very shallow plot of genocide using a more physical means just for the drama of it. I really tried liking this but maybe there was a lot of things happening back in 1991 with Sunrise that they dropped the ball.

Recommended for a UC Gundam completist

Tomino's big cluster........

Just back from my UC binge fest and boy was this incarnation of Gundam a big mess. Understanding the background on how this was originally intended as a 50 something series but it's such in an unfinished state with all the plots summarized into 2 odd hours made watching it a chore.

I really tried liking this but there simply is not emotional anchor to like the potentially interesting characters (great soundtrack too). And the Gundams and other suits where such midgets, it kinda reminded me of the 70s oil crisis where all the muscle cars were stripped down to compete with the shrunk fuel efficient JP cars.

Maybe there were a lot of things happening behind the scenes with Sunrise and Bandai?

Recommended for UC completists only.
