An Acceptable Alternative
This collection contains the three Gundam 00 compilation films, which were never released in the US previously and thus do not have an English dub. However, visually it's just as good as the television series, and watching the series this way isn't bad if you're short on time or just can't sit through 50 episodes.
Having said that, the pacing isn't the greatest. Fifty episodes worth of story have been condensed into give or take 6 hours. The second and third films each cover half of Gundam 00 Season 2(25 episodes total), and as a result the pacing and plot is fairly decent. However, the first film, with a runtime of 2 hours, covers the entirety of the first season(25 episodes). Having a two hour runtime definitely helps when compared to the first Gundam SEED compilation film which tried to cram too much story into an hour and a half, and that was also one of three films, but it still makes the first film feel faster than the other two even if it leaves less out.
