In Martian Successor Nadesico independent arms manufacturer Negal becomes disgusted by the incompetence of Earth's military, and decides to build its own space battleship and plans to launch a desperate offensive to save humanity. But due to a shortage of trained soldiers, however, they've assembled the most unorthodox crew to ever launch into orbit. Great Series and this release matches the blu-ray visually.

One of my top 3 anime titles of all time.
Mix-mash and a parody of Sci-Fi and Mecha titles that preceded it. From Star Trek to Gundam, and back to Macross.
Series turns 21 this year and holds it's own quite well.

This release WAS the best version up until nozomi's blu-ray release.. All the content found here can be found on the blu-ray.
Not to discourage those buying either but see my Review on the blu-rays as this version visually is identical to the blu-ray release. So personally unless your upgrading to ALL Blu-Ray releases you won't go wrong with this release.
