This was a lot more enjoyable than I expected!
Miki is definitely the spotlight in this story and absolutely love her character! Her reactions to this crazy situation with her parents I felt were 100% realistic and is what sucked me into this story right away! Her expressions are always so funny and she's just a sweet heroine.
Yuu definitely wasn't what I expected him to be and have found the love triangle an interesting development. I'm still undecided about Yuu and Miki potentially being in a relationship because while I feel their family situation is wayyyyy too bizarre to be step-siblings, it's still a little…weird…at times? Like when I think about it?
In a way, it reminds me of Takane & Hana in that if you don't think too hard about the story and just enjoy it for what it is, it's a lot of fun to read. Marmalade Boy honestly seems the same way because there are a lot of fun elements to this story that I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of!
