I wanted to like this book but I had to force myself to finish it. It's a harem, and I don't necessarily hate them but this one fell flat. I thought it would lead to some comedy gold what with him not being able to let go of the goddess but the situation were typical and the characters really didn't stick out to me. While I didn't hate it I'm certainly not chomping at the bit to read the next one.

There are some rom/com/harem mangas that break the mold, even if only slightly, and they can be very enjoyable under the right circumstances. Magatsuki hasn't shown me yet that it can break the mold. Judging by the first volume alone, it was kind of tough to get through; nothing special really going on, and the characters fell flat, like really flat.
I think the series might step up as it goes. At the time of writing this review, I'm nearly done with volume 2 (1 chapter left), and it has had a slight, but noticeable improvement.
If the plot can slow down just a little from the "comedy", and give the characters a few semi-serious moments, I think the story could end up being enjoyable.
SHOULD YOU BUY THIS?
I'd say hold off unless you don't have anything else to read. If you have other options at the moment, I'd suggest trying those out; there's nothing special going on over here right now.
