MW Manga
About MW Manga
MW features story and art by Osamu Tezuka.
Yuki is a young bank employee, charismatic, but devoid of all morality. Garai is the guilt-ridden Christian priest who atones for Yuki's sins. They are accidental partners in theft, kidnapping, murder, and most frighteningly, in love.
Fifteen years ago they witnessed and survived the chemical decimation of a seaside village rumored to have been the hiding place of an experimental psychotic drug, called MW (pronounced mu), used by American G.I.s. The Japanese and American governments are jointly covering up all knowledge of the chemical, leaving Yuki and Garai with no one to turn to. Driven by nothing but the desire to inflict evil upon the world, Yuki's salvation will only come from Garai's negotiation of the guilt-ridden torment of their forbidden love, and his responsibility to stop the vicious killer that the MW chemical has created.

Osamu Drama
by CompressionHead -
This story is a bit different for Osamu's work. More serious, more drama. No robots, no sci-fi, no animal characters.
I have a bias towards Tezuka. I generally enjoy anything I read of his regardless if its a great story or not.
MW is not such an impossible story. As far as politics, politicians, government secrets, the people connecting it all and their drive for power highlights the sort of behind the scenes of the world we live in. I found this easy to pick up and read through.
I tend to prefer hardcover books. Considering the page count on this book, nearly 600 pages, it's probably better that it's paper back. But a nice long enjoyable read.
