You cannot miss this one!

I don't even know where to start with this movie! Every little thing about this new and familiar adventure in Lupin's world captures the essence of the series while bringing it into the modern age with its visual style.

The animation, choreography, voice acting, narrative, Sakai Yosuke's cinematography, and Ōno Yūji's music are all tied together so well there is absolutely no way you should miss out on Yamazaki Takashi's take on these classic characters!

Every scene in this film is paced so well that you really get to know the motives of all of the characters involved with the grant scheme of things while letting Laetitia shine up front with the gang.

I really hope TMS works with the crew of Lupin the 3rd: The First on another film, because they really made some magic here!

Enjoy!

Amazing 3D CGI movie!

As someone who is familiar with the Lupin III series, I really enjoyed the movie. I took my date to see this in theaters and I enjoying every minute of this movie.

The steelbook was worth the investment. The case was gold and everything was included just like the details. I got the DVD and Blu-Ray discs and a little book showcasing the character illustrations.

The steelbook is worth it!

Lupin's 'First' 3DCG presentation

Just a great action film with a good plot, a great jazzy musical score, and 3D animation that flowed very smoothly and looked fantastic...and is easy to highly recommend because it's Lupin. Favorite scenes are the rooftop action, the aerial combat, and that 'Death Chamber' puzzle where Lupin's Grandfather, Arsene Lupin, even couldn't solve...was cleverly thought out by the director and writers...Bravo and nicely done!

The steelbook is highly detailed with the gold color accentuating the finely drawn patterns and art work design on both front/back of the case. Absolutely worth the extra $10-$12 dollars to me over the regular BD version, and besides being a worthy collectable, is an aesthetically pleasing steelbook case. The 16-page booklet includes character profiles with tidbits on what the studio intended to showcase on the main characters. And the top extras were the audio comments by the English voice cast, and the interviews with the Japanese voice cast. Enjoy in 2:39:1 format.
