Over 50 years of Lupin and still going strong!

Lupin III Part V is spectacular and is one of the best Lupin series. The show is structured where a few episodes focus on one storyline and equals one chapter of the entire series. Each chapter feels like it could be a theatrical film. There are standalone episodes in between the chapter arcs that focus on the Lupin cast and some even take place in the past Lupin TV series. You can tell this by the color of Lupin’s jacket, which changes in color from each series (green, red, pink, and blue). There are also many Easter eggs and cameos to the past Lupin TV shows, TV specials, and films. Any diehard Lupin fan will love the surprises in these episodes. This is a beautifully animated and extremely entertaining series with great stories and character development. Part V brings Lupin into the modern world and has story elements involving social media, smartphones, and other current technology. I love Part V, Lupin has a long history and this series ranks up there as one of my favorites.
