Expert burglar Lupin the Third continues his global adventures in love, life, and the pursuit of treasure! Traveling the planet with his gun-slinging partner Jigen and his sword-wielding companion Goemon, Lupin robs the rich to keep for himself while charming the ladies along the way. But it’s not all champagne; Inspector Zenigata, that ever-diligent agent of Interpol, is always on Lupin’s tail.
And Lupin can’t seem to help putting his faith and heart in the hands of the bewitching thief/spy Fujiko Mine. In this collection of 38 classic episodes, Lupin escapes prison with ramen noodles, chases his grandfather’s treasure, migrates penguins, targets a golden bed for Fujiko’s love nest, and many more! Also, Zenigata defends the Mona Lisa from his rival’s clutches. And Jigen’s weapon skills are pushed to their limits in a spectacular shootout in the wilderness!

I've never seen these episodes before so that alone made this worth buying for me, as for the overall release its good with the episode quality and extras. Would have preferred a Reed Nelson episode commentary over Mike Toole but that's just me.
Lupin the 3rd part 2 TV series -- a blast from the past
I can happily say, I own, so far, all 3 box sets that have been released so far. Unfortunately, only Lupin the 3rd part 2 TV series collection 1 and 2 are hybrid language release. Collection 3 is only available in Japanese w/English subtitles. This is because Lupin the 3rd part 2 TV series was originally released by Pioneer/Geneon back during the late 1990s/early 2000s before they went bankrupt. Pioneer US only released 79 episodes that were dubbed in English and they also subtitled them in case the customer also wanted to watch it in the original Japanese. Ep 80 - 155 were not known to have been dubbed in English nor subtitled by Pioneer/Geneon. The English voice actors crew, with the exception of the voice actor who voiced Zenigata, originally were from the Pioneer/Geneon crew. It's way cool that DiscoTek was able to get them back together for the current Lupin projects. Buy this box set, you'll have a blast.
