Interesting concept falls terribly flat

Bland empty characters making stupid decisions this was an interesting concept but thye don't manage to pull it off. They couldn't manage to make the Villian protagonist smart so they just made the Victim Protagonist painfully stupid.
Art is quite clean and pleasing but the story falls flat and I'm glad I only got 2 volumes of it.

An engaging premise presented in a fun way

Female lead isn't 'stupid', but she's certainly not a genius. Mostly she's just very innocent/naive. Her behavior is consistent in that respect though, so it's not as though she is just "conveniently naive now and then as a plot device" - that overly trusting demeanor is just her nature.

I rather enjoy the villain's machinations, and look forward to seeing how they all come together as the manga progresses. Premise is interesting, and I think the author does a good job pulling it off.

Second book is good, but arguably the weakest of the first four. The third and fourth books are where the story really hits its stride.
