Great start to an adorable BL series

If anyone (like me) who saw the anime than decided to read the book, you will be very happy. If you have not, you will be happy too. This book take some clichés from BL genre and has some great fun playing with them. Also the art it very well done, no same face syndrome here. Looking forward to future volumes.

If you dont mine guys being in love with each other . then this is manga you will enjoy . I mean this is pretty much about gay guys. but I love it . I give Love Stage!! A+ and watch the anime to its grate.
Fun BL Read

I love the art in this manga. Just started it last night and I must say the anime art is really in line with the manga. Plus, Izumi is just plain cute! I am officially getting sucked into the BL world. I guess it was a matter of time. *sigh* I like that the humor and drama are well mixed.
An enjoyable romp through the usual genre culprits.

.Izumi is a introverted otaku who is trapped in a family of ultra talented stars. His mother is famous, his father is famous, his brother is famous, and apparently his grandfather was famous too. His only real endeavor into show business dressing in drag. Enter Ryoma, who falls head over heels for the "girl" he met on shoot once. They grow up and Ryoma still has feelings and is ecstatic to meet Izumi, then crushed to hear he's a male. Shenanigans ensue.
First volume is sort of slow. It does deliver more than say Ten Count does in the first volume, but it is what you should buy if you want immediate gratification. Love Stage!! falls into a lot of the casual tropes of the genre, but it does them well. It's thoroughly enjoyable, mostly for the secondary characters. If you like the genre you'd like this. If you think you'd like the genre you'd probably like this. It doesn't have a lot of cross over potential for someone with no yaoi interest.

A nice beginning to this adorable boy love manga series! I love the comedy scenes through out this first volume! You will laugh at the characters' antics! It also has a nice romance theme as well. If you do not mind reading boy love stories with lots of romance and comedy, I think you should check this manga title out.
