About Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions Heart Throb Premium Edition Blu-ray/DVD Box Set

This Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions - Heart Throb collection contains episodes 1-13 plus a chipboard box, a booklet, a Good Smile Satone keychain, art cards, notebook, mirror, poster, stickers, and glitter tattoo.

Yuta Togashi thought he had problems dealing with one delusional girlfriend in the person of Rikka Takanashi, but now things are about to go totally insane as his former "one true soul mate" from when he was a chuni himself returns with a vengeance! So how bad is Satone Shichimiya's re-entry into Togashi's chuni-verse likely to be? Let's just say that she's so epically off the deep end of the chuni-scale that she prefers to use the name Sophia Ring SP Saturn VII and that she'll joyfully tear Togashi's real world to pieces in order to get him back in her imaginary one!

Some girls just want to have fun and some want to break down the walls between their boyfriends and themselves. But when a girl's idea of fun is breaking down the wall between their presumed boyfriend and reality, retreating into a fantasy world might just be Togashi's best option. Especially since Satone knows where ALL the skeletons from his past are buried. Toss Rikka's equally delusional friend Sanae into the mix and girl-crazy begins to take on a whole new meaning!

Special Features: Chunibyo Lite, Clean Opening and Closing.

More love chunibyo!!!!!!

by

This series is truly adorable and funny and this second season continues that with a love rival to Rika. For anyone who owns season 1 this set is a no brainer to buy!!!

A Must Have at Such a Great Price

I really love this series, and this box set is really awesome. I own the first season's premium box set as well, and they do not disappoint. Just look at all the stuff it comes with! The artwork on the box is also pretty amazing and very eye catching. If you're a collector, it's really a no-Brainerd. Get it. You won't regret it!

Fantastic show, but as for the premium...

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga shitai Ren is a fantastic show. Perhaps not quite up to its preceding season, but still cute, sweet, funny, and gorgeous to look at. I cannot recommend it enough. That said, the premium box is a step down from the first season. There's some neat trinkets, but I was really hoping there would be another comprehensive book of interviews, illustrations and info- and no such luck here.

A good set for an "ok" follow up.

As a fan of the first season, this was something I was very excited for. Expectations were unfortunately not met though. While overall ok, this season lacks in comparison to it's predecessor We do get more time with the characters and the art/animation continues to amaze, but this season really feels like it's lacking heart.

There just isn't really an interesting overarching plot and the story is a lot more episodic. There's still moments of cuteness and some good jokes, but it overall starts to ware thin by the end. While not terrible, it's still a disappointment. If you felt satisfied with how things ended in season 1, then you really don't have to watch this. I really only recommend if you really want more Chunibyo.

The actual set resembles the first, though it is lacking a great info book about the behind the scenes. It's also more expensive, which confuses me. If you really like the show, it's not a bad purchase. You get a lot for the price compared to other releases.

A great overall series, would recommend to anyone who likes charming little romances

Just like the first set, this set is gorgeous and the box looks great on a shelf next to the first one. It comes with slightly less goodies than the last one, but my favorite one is the poster. The series itself is a continuation of the first part, the main character moving closer and closer to his chunibyo-afflicted love interest. It has several big laugh parts, but by no means is it the most hilarious thing in the world. The best thing about this series is the character interactions, definitely an A+ in that regard. I honestly think the price is fair as well, there are sets more expensive than this one that give you a lot less (I'm looking at you, Aniplex). Definitely come get this one before it runs out, especially if you got the first part.

Great series

Great title for those who live in this world full of unique individuals in which all of us can to relate to at some point in our lives. All and all a great series for the kid at heart

Not as great as the first but still welcomed.

The sequel to Love Chunibyo and Other Delusions, Heart Throb does not add new plot twists to the previous story and it continues along with the same slice of life formula of its predecessor. There is one new character, a girl that Yuuta knew in the past and may harbor feelings for him. There is a love triangle thing that occurs in this season, a few one off episodes dealing with the other main characters and that's about it. The relationship between Rikka and Yuuta is still trotting along slowly (A bit too slowly, but hey, they're new to this) there aren't any big romantic moments between them but they are still pretty cute together.

Heart Throb is more episodic than the previous series but doesn't have such a confused vision of what it wants to be or what its message is. At its heart this is just a cute romcom anime with quirky characters and is a good watch for a quick pick me up. If you liked the first Chunibyo then you'd likely enjoy this as well. Just don't expect too much.

includes mini episodes.

great blu-ray quality. includes 6 mini episodes. more of what you loved in the first season. box and packaging are nice but bonus items are not memorable. I recommend you buy this if you can find it under 100$.
