An average anime in every aspect...

by -

I enjoy fantasy adventure anime series, and always found 1-2 elements that appealed or stood out in such shows. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one in this series. And while the show opened with a promising beginning, in the long run it was just a mediocre series. None of the characters were memorable, the musical score was flat, the story was totally predictable, humorous segments too childish for a 17+ rated show, battlefield animation was choppy at times, and the fan-service scenes were the usual platitudes.

I'd say best to watch on streaming services if you want to see it, as the anime lacks ownership factor due to poor replay value. Overall 3 stars as there are better options out there!
