Log Horizon Collection 2 Blu-ray
About Log Horizon Collection 2 Blu-ray
Log Horizon Collection 2 contains episodes 14-25.
Even as Shiroe slowly learns the secrets behind the creation of the World Fraction spell, the origin of the Demi-humans, and how his own actions in the Real World have affected the world in which he now dwells, the seeds of thought he's planted in the minds of others begin to bear fruit. Game strategy and tactics may have been intended for amusement, but their origins were pulled from actual war planning and stratagems. As others begin to accept and implement those theories on their own, the existing alliances and balance of power begin to shift.
Those changes can't possibly come quickly enough, as the adventurers' preoccupations have allowed the Goblins to unite and amass a giant army. Now the Goblins are on the march, and as the Estal Lords debate their course of action, Minori makes a dangerous gamble and initiates action on her own. In the midst of this MMORPG turned real, an unassuming princess may prove to be the key to ultimate victory.

awesome service and great communication
i got this before it came and it is great
great second half of first season
by Tathlyn -
The second half of the season for this series continues to provide a strong well done story which continues to focus on the characters. This series is a very good look into both the psychology and sociology of MMO's and how the players are now having to build a society with rules and consequences. There is one episode where I think the story does get bogged down with strategy explanations, but it doesn't diminish the enjoyment of the series and some people may actually like strategy discussions.
The season ends at a good pausing point with teasers of what some of things the characters will face in the second season, which fortunately is being released on Blu-ray and dvd in the next few months.
Better Than Sword Art Online
by John Albatross -
I really liked this show because of the protagonist's ingenious approach to defeating his enemies. Shiroe, called "The Demon in Glasses" is a mage/wizard class and instead of waving a sword around he uses brains to overcome brawn. His strategies are always clever and several moves ahead of his enemies.
This show also explores the situation and relationship with Non-Player Characters (NPCs). They play a very important role in the plot.
Unlike SAO, this show does not deal in romance much. There is a romantic rivalry for Shiroe's affection but that is not explored in depth. While I would like to see a conclusion reached on that front I am glad that it did not let romance stray the plot. This show is more about long term strategizing than action and romance. In terms of gaming lexicon I would say Log Horizon is a cooperative RTS to SAO's single-player real-time action.
This show spans the full 24 episodes. Unlike SAO it is not divided into two 12 episode arcs.
Part 2 is amazing

This show gave me hope that anime can be good again and not just one harem show after another. This show has it all comedy, political intrigue, action good characters, suspense. This show has quickly became my favorite.
A Better "Stuck In the Game" Option
This is is part two of an excellent Anime that in an age of "Oh crap! We just got pulled into a game!" shows that I find has a much more sophisticated story and isn't just creating one pairing after another (harems) to the main character. If you're looking for something funny that also sparks your imagination, this is your anime.
