Interesting but confusing

by -

I gave up on this movie long ago and I kept seeing it on sale for a good price so I figured why not try it again. I’m kinda glad I came back to this one. It may be quite confusing, but I found it really interesting. It definitely needs some reading up on to fully grasp the story. The characters are likable and the twists and turns it does, make you glued to your screen. This is one where I wouldn’t mind checking out the manga. The visuals and sounds are nice where it would’ve been better watching this on the big screen. The reason it’s not higher rated is, like I said before, pretty confusing to a point I had to keep rewinding cause I didn’t understand. And although it was good, It didn’t fully grab me. But yeah I would recommend this one.

Cool Concept With Confusing Twist

by -

This SciFi Film starts out with an interesting concept of humanity trying to survive a deadly virus by putting some of the non infected in suspended animation until a cure can be made. They wake up to finding the facility overrun with monsters & try to survive. The atmosphere & tone is excellent and it moves at a tight speed. It truly has an engaging feel.
Then a twist/revelation comes up that completely derails the film. The film honestly requires multiple viewings to try & understand what is happening within the last 40 minutes with the said twist. Its like a twist was forced into it.

The film ultimately had a great concept that gets dragged down by a overly complex twist.
