A Bootyful Release for a Fantasstic Show.

Funimation did an exceptional job on the production value for this LE. The artwork chosen for the outer box, discs, cases, artbook, and calendar make for swell eye candy. The disc menu is snazzy and even uses tracks from the official soundtrack, not just generic background music like some releases.

My favorite bonus features are the two commentary tracks and the OVAs, which total about 20 minutes of extra content. The pin-up style calendar was also a cheeky idea.

The dub was also particularly well cast and the VAs did a commendable job with this off subject matter, those brave, brave women.

As for the series itself, it's one of my all time favorites. It's packed with outrageous humor and parodies of shounen battle tropes; some so subtle they go over your head unless you really pay attention. From the character archetypes to the ridiculous attack names its comedy gold, yet the battles are so well choreographed I sometimes forget to laugh because I'm hyped for the action.

A fun show with a decent package

Keijo is my personal favorite anime of 2016 with the show being hilarious. It manage to make an absurd concept that could get really old quick keep being hilarious all the way through. The limited edition comes with a calendar that goes from February all the way to next year February and looks nice and small. The only complaint is the last page of the calendar not looking right, but aside for that is a fun addition. The art book is decent with hot shot of some of the other keijo player with my favorite being the lesbian blonde US lady. The package is a solid box with the blu ray and dvd having the four main group. Plus it does contain the specials. I said getting the limited edition is not worth it to be honest, but the cost for it does not make you feel like you getting rip-off like some companies cough*aniplex*cough. So if you are a huge fan and want something extra, I guess you won't feel like you got rip-off.

No Butts About It! The Keijo!!!!!!!! LE Is An Excellent Release

The anime is a fresh look at sports anime tropes that never takes itself too seriously. If you're a sports fan who doesn't mind boob and butt puns, you'll find yourself enjoying Keijo!!!!!!!!

Furthermore, Funimation has provided enough additional content to make purchasing the Limited Edition worth it. The chipboard box that houses the disc casing is sturdy and attractive, while the 2018 calendar is a unique piece of merchandise that will serve as a talking point if you're brave enough to put it onto display. Mercifully, whoever designed this release packaged the calendar on the OUTSIDE of the box so that, if you do choose to use it, the disc case isn't rattling around inside of the box in the meantime.

One aspect that could be improved is the art book. While there are some great pieces in there, it comes across as a bit small and flimsy and may not be satisfying for fans who are animation aficionados.

Keijo! LE is a must buy for fans!

Great release for a surprisingly good series! The limited additions are also good.
