Adorable

At this point you should know what to expect. The art is as cute as ever. They're in college now but still struggle with some jealously and awkwardness. To be critical, it still feels very much like a high school yuri story. Shouldn't this be getting more grownup at this point? It's common for the yuri genre to get stuck in the beginning phase of the relationship so if that's what you love - then great news, plenty of that here.
Little bit of a reboot

I'm a little sad the "Kase-san and ..." title scheme has been retired for the much simpler "Kase-san and Yamata" but I suppose it is easier.
The main conflict in this one is a little bit of a retread from the original series, but it makes sense as this is starting into a separate piece of work, and reinforces Kase and Yamada's individual flaws and the obstacles they face both in their individual lives and their relationship - there is also a twist this time that leads to the implication that there might be more this time around.
The new backdrop and supporting characters help quite a lot and there's a lot of fun seeing Yamada in her new plant life; the pacing also does a great job of really making it felt how distant Yamada and Kase find themselves in terms of time spent together. Super excited this is continuing and can't wait to read more!
