Karoku, Nai, and KAFFKA, oh my!

by -

This volume provides important backstory for Karoku and Nai (& KAFFKA), but still leaves plenty of mystery surrounding both. It does a good job of sating the need to know while resurrecting old questions and sparking new ones. Most of this volume is dedicated to this part of the story, but there are a few sections starring the 2nd ship's crew. They wrap up the events of volume 9 in the beginning and end focusing on Yogi. Plus, it's the tenth anniversary for the series, book 10 and year 10, so there're a few extra art pages at the end to celebrate. ^_-
