A Great Start!
by Sam
Alright, so it took me a whie to get to this in-between Chainsaw Man and Hell's Paradise and the insanity of trying to collect 20th Century Boys (the pandemic has been INSANE for collecting stuff), but I have to say: I'm really enjoying this! It's nothing revolutionary, it's another shounen after all, but it's a lot of fun. It reminds me a little of My Hero Academia in that there's the MC who isn't special until he is, the huge fights and awesome action shots, and just the energy of it. Also, having main characters that aren't in high school is a very welcome change. All in all, it's a solid start to a new shounen, and I'm very excited to see more. :D
GREAT Kaiju Fun by Shonen Jump

This Manga was a very pleasant surprise! I bought this purely from a love of Kaiju, think Pacific Rim type love. I was not disappointed!! Think the Charlie Day character visits the Kaiju parts black market, now go a step further in manga form. The story has "cleaners" that process HUGE dead kaiju killed by "special forces" with one hottie loser who feels unfulfilled in his dead end life as a cleaner. He, along with another newbie cleaner, but this newbie is a One-Punch-Man-like-Genos-Type, are attacked by another Kaiju .
I found the artwork very marketable, nice line work and artistic flow is well done. The gags are quite funny and work well with the story. I found the whole premise a fun read, the story moves well and at times seems to jump but does not detract from the overall entertainment.
You're never too old to be the main character!
by Killian
I gotta say that it's really nice to read a shonen manga where the main character is in his 30s instead of being a 16 year old like shonen protagonists normally are. There's nothing wrong with teenage protags, but as someone in my 20s it's nice to see older characters going on adventures/getting superpowers/etc. instead of being the mentor like they normally are. The action is great, there's cool character designs, and it has a pretty positive message of trying again to obtain your dreams even if you're worried that you're "too old" to go for them. I can't wait to see where the series goes
There's a new kaiju in town, but no one can know.

This manga has everything! Giant kaiju, check. Interesting/fun characters, check. Good story, check. Humor and action, check. Good translation, check.
The story starts off with the unsung heroes of monster movies, the clean-up crew. A new friendship is born after a newbie joins the crew and reignites a member's desire to join the defense force. Something interesting happens that provides the main character with a tremendous advantage, however, he cannot let anyone know about this advantage. Now this has become a kaiju/action/humor/suspense (how can he accomplish things AND hide his secret?!). I believe if anyone were to read this with an open mind, they'd find something of interest.
