Interesting read

The hardcover design is very smooth and polished. The artwork on both the front and back are stunning. The story itself, like alk Nisio Isin works, is solely character driven which I love, but is also predictable which may serve to be this story's downside.
Another timely and sardonic NisioisiN take on a fad premise (part three)
by Two-Beat
Those hankering for more typical executions of this premise might find this unsatisfying, or even like they're vaguely being mocked - the ending especially seemed to rile up those who were hoping for more conventional satisfactions - but for those who can identify and jive with its offbeat take on war and those who fight them there's a lot to like in Zodiac War.
While the translation is a bit dry in spots it's much closer to the stellar treatment the Stories (monogatari) got as opposed to the more lackluster Zaregoto translations and the hardcover is very fine quality.
