About JoJo's Bizarre Adventure DVD 1

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 1: More than 100 years have past since the battle between Jonathan Joestar and the vampire Dio Brando. Now Dio's escape from the ocean depths awakens the psychic power known as "Stand" within 17-year-old Jotaro "JoJo" Kujo and his grandfather Josef Joestar. Now they must battle the immortal vampire Dio, who holds Jotaro's mother Holley prisoner in a nightmare-filled coma.

But they're not alone. Joining them in their quest are four warriors who also posses mystical Stand powers. Great Anime.

by -

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is based on the long-running manga series by Araki Hirohiko. The 2 OVA are based on the 3rd generation of the JoJo storyline. The first three volumes in the US is for the second OVA. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is one of my favorite series, the animation is gorgeous, the fight scenes are great and the character designs are unique.

A Great Product

Item arrived in perfect condition. For any diehard fan of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, it is worth every penny. It came in both English and Japanese Audio, with English Subtitles. The Special Features were a nice touch, and I enjoyed watching them. Hopefully, Right Stuf will eventually add disks 4 - 6 to their catalogue.

So Cool!

I have definitely been sleeping on Jojo for some time now. My little brother finally talked me into trying it out and I must say, it is pretty cool. The style itself is enough for me to love it but the music is good, the characters are fun. It is a fun shonen for sure. Would recommend!

Ova ova ova ova!!!!

For any Jojo fan out there, this may be the first of the ova, but not the first to a fantastic series. Not every episode is on it, just the first 3, but they are still pleasing and the old animation is just nolstalgic. It came in great condition and even came with some tarot cards for the stands in these episodes, not all of them. The seriousness with the quietness, compared to the music in the newer stardust crusaders, just makes you anxious for what is going to happen.
