A diferent world war!
I have mix felings about this series
In one hand you have excelent scenario, excelent music, excelent animation and amesome acting by the main caracter´s
In another hand you have bad writing after chapter 6 and the most clichê situations in anime of war, they always put the "beat´s" in easy solutions.
It´s a dificult anime to recomend buy, because, yes has a great production value, have great acting and it´s beautiful to see but the script is not crap, but using direct the preditible solutions, a "old" anime fan like me can predict the solutions very eays and that for me push back too much the show!
not what i expected, but in a good way

I bought this on a whim because the premise sounded interesting and the art looked beautiful. I'm glad I did but the story didn't go the way I expected. not sure what I expected of a WWW II with witches but it wasn't quite what I got. It was very moving and while some of the characters are a little over then top, they are genuine for all of that. you really feel for their struggle to save their country from being invaded. doing whatever is necessary even when it's not pleasant. I would definitely watch this again.
Not for everyone, kind of all of the place
I tried to like this show, I really did. But I just couldn’t get into it. It was a little hard to follow and honestly pretty boring. It does have some beautiful animation to it, that’s one of the things that attracted me to this show and because the cover makes it look like there was going to be this beautiful grand relationship between these girls....but I feel like that was kind of misleading. Wasn’t really all that romantic, in fact I really couldn’t even tell you if they were actually ‘together’ or not.. my advice is watch this online first and see if you like it. I thought it would be my type of show because I like yaoi and yuri anime’s but this was not my cup of tea.
