An Exciting, if Dense, and Climactic Volume, Capping off the anime-adapted Material

Bell and his friends are in trouble again as they bite off much more than they can chew, and find themselves in deadly peril deep in the dungeon! The author excels at running-battles, and Bell's desperate sprint through the bowels of the dungeon is tense and nerve-wracking. In order to save Bell & co., several side characters are given focus and revelation. Of note is Lyu, the mysterious elf of "Momma Mia's'- her backstory adds some meat to this story's world, and she cements herself as a genuine (platonic) friend of Bell. We are also introduced to the enigmatic god Hermes, who promises to have much to do with the ongoing plot of future volumes.

The ending battle, featuring dozens of characters of various importance, and lasting nearly a third of the volume, may be a bit much for some; it feels like the author possibly tried to do too much. However, this is still a solid volume of an excellent series, and caps off the material adapted in the anime.
