Not as good as Gantz

by -

I had high hopes for this series since I really like Gantz, and even though the idea was great, the story wasn't. I hated the main character and only wished for him to fail. This manga seemed to be solely written just for the author to get "revenge" on his Gantz haters. The ending as well seems scripted just to show his dissenters of the fan-hated Gantz ending that he can make a cliche "good" ending. After the first volume you can guess where the story is headed. The art is still good and some ideas original, but overall it's a disappointment.
