About Inu Yasha The Final Act Complete Series Blu-ray

Inu Yasha: The Final Act Complete Series set contains episodes 1-26 of the anime directed by Yasunao Aoki.

Kagome is an ordinary schoolgirl who finds her destiny linked to a hotheaded but brave half demon named Inuyasha and the powerful Shikon Jewel. In their quest to restore the shattered Shikon Jewel, Inuyasha and Kagome face their ultimate enemy, the demon mastermind Naraku.

Kagome finds herself pulled between two worlds as she struggles to fight alongside Inuyasha in the feudal era and study for her high school entrance exams in the present. As the battle enters its final stage, Inuyasha and his friends have their strength, loyalties, and will to live pushed to the limit. The final key to Naraku's and the Jewel's destruction may lie in nothing more - and nothing less - than the trust between a half demon and a girl from the future.

Like InuYasha, only time compressed

by -

I enjoyed InuYasha as it was released on DVD. I had looked forward to seeing how the series ended without needing to buy the Manga, and this fit the bill. I would tell you to read synopses on-line instead of watching the series finale.

Problem is, anyone that's watched the series prior to this season, they will tell you they drew the story out at a snails pace (different problem). Story lines would take 3 episodes to complete at times, and sometimes more. With the final act, they've snapped the rubber band back in the other direction. The story is told at break neck speed, with story lines sometimes completed within the first half of a SINGLE EPISODE or less. This is way too fast, and it makes following the series difficult at best.

They've retained, on the Japanese side at least, all of the original voice actors. I am not sure about the English side, as this was not how I enjoyed the series as it was released.

Video and audio quality is OK, but nothing amazing.

Not Worth It ... Complete Waste

Where to start with this mess …. how about it's not even coherent

It jumps from scene to scene, never lays out a clear storyline .. 1 minute a bad guy is fighting Inuyasha 15 seconds later the same demon is fighting someone else in a different location …

I love Inuyasha and the deep story but this series throws telling the story out the window for jumping from fight scene to fight scene without plot or reason … thoroughly confusing .. even the conversations are impossible to follow as they jump so frequently and at such odd pacing it boggles the mind they released this at all

A great example is in the first episode they completely skip over how Kagome and Inuyasha met … this isn't a stand alone product it requires you having seen and know the main story making this series useless

I am truly disappointed in my purchase … I hoped I'd get the whole story just having fluff removed but this, this is trash

A Great Final Act

by

This is technically season 8 of Inuyasha, and the last season for the original running series. The Final Act does a great job wrapping up story, and I highly recommend watching it if you have seen the previous 7 seasons already. The Final Act is a continuation of that.
