Worth The Wait (And Price)

by -

Everything about this film was beautiful but it totally destroyed me. I wish we had a LE release. The special booklet and box art are both very nice though.

Crying Everytime

by -

Beautiful story and cinematography packaged right into a nice Blu-Ray bundle with other theater-exclusive bonuses added in.
Box it comes with it pleasing to the eye, and the booklet is a nice little addition to the set.

In terms of the movie itself for those who have never seen it:
-Would highly recommend the watch even if romantic movies aren't your thing
-Don't look into the movie in advanced, blind viewership is truly what makes the experience in watching
-A movie worth re-watching plenty of times after you see it, so the purchase is recommended!

Great adaptation of great source material

by

I was a fan of both the original light novel and the manga adaptation that came after it. I was glad I got to see the anime version as it certainly holds up to its counterparts. There are a couple of changes here and there, but nothing drastic. Overall, almost everything to come out of this story has been great, and this movie is no exception.

Great Movie! And Great Product!

This is one of the best anime movies I’ve seen, and I’ve seen quite a few. It’s a very touching anime, and teaches you important lessons about life of what it means to live despite the characters going through a hard time. The Blu-ray itself was really well packaged had a booklet showing some character information as well as Japanese and English interviews of their respective dub voice actors. I highly recommend this film for both the quality of the Blu-ray as well as this very great yet heartbreaking story.

watch this, seriously, do it!

A+ absolutely one of my favorite anime movies ever.

Absolutely incredible and a must watch if you like these kinds of stories. Go in blind like the others have said, and get ready for a story with wonderful characters that you will fall in love with. The animation is great, the music is great, and im so happy to have this in my collection.

True Art

This is my third favorite anime movie, right behind A Silent Voice and Your Name. I felt like I was able to relate with the main character's personality. An MC who has trouble expressing emotions and becoming intimate with another person. The main female character, Sakura, is portrayed perfectly. She completely changes the way Shiga Haruki thinks and experiences emotions. This movie really hits the heart.

Great Movie That's Worth a Watch

by -

Personally one of my favorite movies. I tend to like stand alone movies more than ones that are a part of a larger series, so this definitely hit the mark.
Comes in your standard little case, similar to other Special Edition Movies/Shows. Looks very nice.
About the movie itself, if you can, go in as blind as possible. It 100% will be worth it. I hate saying things are a must watch, because nothing is for everyone, but if you enjoy the more Slice of Life and down to earth stories, you will probably enjoy this as well.

Tear jerker movie

If you like silent voice and your name this movie is for you. Don’t be discouraged by the movie title it will make sense once you watch the movie . I want to eat your pancreas is a beautiful story with beautiful animation and has you in store for some tears.

Absolutely breathtaking!

by -

This movie is absolutely breathtaking. It’s moving, optimistic, beautiful and heart-wrenching all at the same time. The relationship between the two characters is really well written and what they give to each other is truly profound. The artwork is amazing. I cannot recommend this movie enough. It will almost assuredly make you cry but it’s absolutely worth the experience. I usually don’t like paying the high Aniplex prices but this movie is worth every penny. If you liked A Silent Voice and Your Name, this will be right up your alley.

A Beautiful Story

I read a lot of good things about this film, and decided to finally purchase it. I'm really glad I did, this is one of those films you can't help but think about long after watching it. In my case, I got a little down in the dumps because of how real the story and characters are. It also helps you to appreciate certain things in life, which I feel is the objective of the writer and director. Seriously, this is a situation I can envision happening in the real world, which makes the story it tells that much more special. The artwork, music, and acting is all top tier. The booklet that comes with it is a really nice addition as well. I personally can't really find any faults in the film. Overall, a really well told and beautiful story. I would say that if you enjoy A Silent Voice, you'll enjoy this.
