Worth The Wait (And Price)

Everything about this film was beautiful but it totally destroyed me. I wish we had a LE release. The special booklet and box art are both very nice though.

Crying Everytime

Beautiful story and cinematography packaged right into a nice Blu-Ray bundle with other theater-exclusive bonuses added in.
Box it comes with it pleasing to the eye, and the booklet is a nice little addition to the set.

In terms of the movie itself for those who have never seen it:
-Would highly recommend the watch even if romantic movies aren't your thing
-Don't look into the movie in advanced, blind viewership is truly what makes the experience in watching
-A movie worth re-watching plenty of times after you see it, so the purchase is recommended!

Great adaptation of great source material

by

I was a fan of both the original light novel and the manga adaptation that came after it. I was glad I got to see the anime version as it certainly holds up to its counterparts. There are a couple of changes here and there, but nothing drastic. Overall, almost everything to come out of this story has been great, and this movie is no exception.

Great Movie! And Great Product!

This is one of the best anime movies I’ve seen, and I’ve seen quite a few. It’s a very touching anime, and teaches you important lessons about life of what it means to live despite the characters going through a hard time. The Blu-ray itself was really well packaged had a booklet showing some character information as well as Japanese and English interviews of their respective dub voice actors. I highly recommend this film for both the quality of the Blu-ray as well as this very great yet heartbreaking story.

watch this, seriously, do it!

True Art

This is my third favorite anime movie, right behind A Silent Voice and Your Name. I felt like I was able to relate with the main character's personality. An MC who has trouble expressing emotions and becoming intimate with another person. The main female character, Sakura, is portrayed perfectly. She completely changes the way Shiga Haruki thinks and experiences emotions. This movie really hits the heart.
