I'm Leaking . . .

I came to the manga party late. I saw the anime film first, and, if you have not yet seen it, I highly recommend it! At any rate, I enjoyed the film so much I jumped into the manga, and I am glad I did. It is definitely worth a read, even if you have seen the anime (or the live action adaptation). Because of the limited run time of the film(s), some things were left out. Thus, there is still more of the story left to experience in the manga, which is why I recommend that those who have seen the movie check out the manga as well!

The story is simply amazing. It will make you sad. It will make you smile. It has two key protagonists, one whom is a girl suffering from a serious illness, probably diabetes, that has gone out of control and requires her to spend time in hospital on a regular basis. This has made it hard for her to make friends.
Enter the boy.
Eventually, they become very close, but, tragedy strikes.
Her diary then becomes the rest of the story.

This got to me one level that most might not. I am Autistic, Asperger Syndrome. I have issues with emotional subtlety and also had problems making friends because of it. I understand her. On one level, I AM her!

I promise u when u pick up this manga it will have u crying and it will have u feel pain even tho it’s a manga it’s everything so pick it up today ! 5 stars aren’t even enough

Great Story, Intriguing Plot

I thought the movie adaption to the story was absolutely amazing! The manga also does just that. The story is an emotional roller coaster filled with happiness, pain, sadness, and comedy. I think that anyone who has the opportunity to get their hands on this manga should definitely do so.
