A lot funnier than expected

I've read a lot of light novels, and when I saw the description of this one I thought it would be a really peaceful story, kinda like Ascendance Of A Bookworm. I'm glad I was wrong, I read this and laughed a whole lot at the absurdity of it all and immediately decided to buy the second one. I'd say give this a chance if you're unsure.
Real good stuff

The title alone caught my attention, and I finally tried it. It's so good in the way the isekai setup is played with and the writing/translation itself.
I like how Kaoru takes light knocks at how she's living out her own isekai situation. And she's just plain funny--and smart and clever.
The potion skill is used nicely. It's a cheat skill for sure--she literally asks for it to be a "cheat skill"--but it doesn't bog you down with details like you get with Touya's smartphone or Naofumi's shield.
I was impressed by the writing because not only is the style and tone mature but accessible, but it also avoids a personal pet peeve I have that's in a lot of light novels. This author knows how to write in PARAGRAPHS!!!! I mean "real" paragraphs that go on for 5-7 sentences instead of indenting every 2 lines.
It has a lot of promise in the story--it gets moving pretty quickly--and in the style, so I'm definitely looking forward to reading the next volume.
