But after meeting the exceedingly cheerful Taichi, he gradually beings to embrace a more positive outlook on life. Kohei eventually begins to see Taichi as more than a friend, and after he finally confesses his love to Taichi, the feelings become mutual.

Another Start to a Great Series

by -

I really enjoyed where this next cycle of life takes these lovable characters. It always gives me pleasure and a weight off my chest to read this series and watch their budding relationship blossom. I also really liked the new characters (especially Ryu~!) and more exploration of deaf culture.

While you probably can start reading this series from here, since all you really need to know is that two guys are in a relationship and one of them is dealing with deafness, you should go back and check out the previous two installments to really appreciate how far these characters have come.

I Love the sunspot!

Having gotten invested in the characters after the first two oneshots I knew I would read the manga. Over all volume one is good and I definitely want to continue. Its a slow burn of a love story but the story makes definitely makes up for it.

Great Series!

Volume 3 in the series

I love this series!!! It feels really authentic and I really love how the characters relationship is going. It is a slow burn, but well worth the read. This has become my favorite BL manga series ever. This BL has no explicit content, which I very much prefer. I love the focus on their friendship that turns into love. Great read!

If anyone wants to know the order to read as of now:
Volume 1: I Hear The Sunspot
Volume 2: I Hear The Sunspot Theory of Happiness
Volume 3-5: I Hear The Sunspot Limit Manga 1-3

Continuing the storyline in a satisfying way

by -

I'm so glad that this series got a continuation! I truly love all the characters, and the Limit series introduces even more interesting side characters and plots. The romance is definitely a slow-burning one, and the romantic plot itself is not always the focus of the story, but that's fine by me as I find the exploration of how deafness is viewed in Japan to be really fascinating. The character development is really well-done. If you liked the original one-shot and Theory of Happiness, you will definitely enjoy this sequel series!
