A Bit Different, but Worth a Look
by ErwinJA
So, our main is an "extra" during a hero summoning to a relatively peaceful world where this is just to celebrate the original hero. He's promptly snubbed by the king and excluded from official events, leading to him meeting some of the most powerful (both physically and politically) figures among the demons and gods, and hitting it off with them amazingly well.
Most of them are quite extreme and eccentric, yet are highly revered by the general populace. As a result, the world's events increasingly revolve around our "hero," with more normal characters' reactions to the crazy things often being much of the fun - I feel for his poor hostess.
The series moves a bit slowly, and much of the conflict comes off a bit forced, but it's refreshing in how things tend to go quite differently compared to similar titles, and this one has some very nice artwork to boot.
If you like some of the other slice-of-life or "slow-life" isekai series, this is probably worth a shot.
