Still outstanding

Everything great from the first volume continues here, and I am still really impressed by how well the art works between the different styles used and how much care is put into the characters (especially when they're being portrayed as menacing). Story wise the start of this does pull a reversal by means of a misunderstanding, so this volume did re-tread some prior ground, but it still never felt non-sequitur or not fresh, and the ending especially was fantastic. I'm hoping the same kind of reversal set up doesn't happen again in volume 3, partially because I don't think it could be done well, but mainly because I'm excited to see how the story unfolds.
