A Story of Misunderstandings Worth Investing In...

As far as rom-coms go, this volume was top notch. Definitely would recommend for those who enjoyed 'Don't Toy With Me Miss Nagatoro'.

A solid and funny start

by

This is a sweet little comedy with a heavy dose of misunderstandings. Each chapter has a quick pace and is focused on one bit or interaction between the characters. Some of the jokes miss the mark but overall this is a solid title.

Fantastic romcom

by

Set up to this is super good, and the constant flip flopping between character view points and their reactions is excellent - well handled and always with a pay off. The art too does a crazy amount of heavy lifting - easily switching back and forth between multiple styles depending on what the gag calls for, and all of it is super well done and just as detailed as it needs to be. Also, unlike a lot of romcom stuff that feels entirely non-sequitur, there's actual character development and I'm excited to see where stuff goes in volume 2.

A Great Start to This Rom-com Manga!

by -

I Belong to the Baddest Girl at School Manga features the struggles of love between Unoki, the main character, and Toramaru-san who is a feared girl and suspected delinquent in school. The story is mostly a comedy, with Toramaru attempting to forwards the two's relationship by doing things she thinks couples would do and Unoki misunderstanding everything and thinking there is a masked threat behind every action. It is a rather face-paced manga, coming in at 11 chapters, but it is relatively funny and very heartwarming to see that Toramaru really likes Unoki and holds no ill feelings against him. There are also friends of Toramaru that threaten the peacefulness of the relationship, but you would have to read the story to find out what happens next. This manga does not show a lot on the side of character development yet, but it is only the first volume and I am very excited to see where the story goes from here!
