Great series bad pricing

This is a phenomenal show and possibly one of the greatest shonen adaptations ever. However, I'm not a fan of price because it's only 13 episodes from a 148 episode series. Meaning if you want to own the entire series you'll end up spending around $500 which is to much in my opinion. Hopefully they have the second set include 26 episodes, but I doubt that'll happen.
Gon but Not Forgotten

As a manga, this series is my all-time fave. As an anime, it doesn't work as well. The minimalistic style works in print but comes across as plain here. Storyline pacing is far slower than the reading experience, though, to be fair, that is heavily determined by the reader. I still was able to enjoy the experience of some excellent characters in motion. Kurapika, Hisoka, Killua, and Netero are all very well represented. If you aren't a reader, you can definitely catch up with this story and its frequent innovations via this anime. However, if you are a reader, I can't suggest you hunt down every single manga volume soon enough. There are better anime than this, but you won't find a better manga. Tyler02

Top Tier Anime

This is all around a great anime. The story is extremely well written and the character designs and personalities are amazing. The story revolves around the main characters quest to find his father and along the way he meets new friends.
The artwork of the bluray is great with a different case artwork than the slipcover.
I recommend buying it during sales.
