Training to become a Slayer, a fighter capable of using the Hundred, Hayato will learn that it’s going to take more than a high-match capability to face the greatest threat to Earth’s survival. Luckily, he has Emile Crossfode on his side—but there’s something more to this eager and clingy young man.

An Amazing Story That Will Surprise You!

by -

Hundred is a light novel series by Jun Misaki and it is adapted into a TV anime series by Production IMS debut in spring 2016 from Japan. I first watch this in the internet that was interesting to me so I've purchased the "Essentials" Edition from the last RS Birthday Sale right away. The main story is about Hayato Kisaragi (a Variant) has come to the city ship Little Garden to attend the Academy becoming a Slayer. He was also reunited with his childhood friends Emilia Hermit, Sakura Kirishima & ill sister Karen. They all use their "Hundreds" to defeat the Savages while revealing his forgotten past to protect everyone in Little Garden. Although it has a lot of Fan Service & Harem, the plot of the story makes it really good to watch. Also, the 4 closing songs is fun to listen which is what I really liked about it. Highly recommended for your collection you won't regret it.

A Bit Rough

by -

Conceptually, the story is understandable and interesting. However, Hundred's execution of it was not done very well. Many elements felt randomly thrown in, while some characters were either too rushed, or have left little impact to be significant in the overall story. Add to that a weird conclusion to the season and you are left with something not really fulfilling unless you are really drawn to the genre.

Package is pretty standard for an essentials shows, comes with 2 Blu-Ray Discs and a digital code. Menus are clear and easy to navigate.

Overall, the show is a hit or miss for watchers. Personally, nothing necessary stands out that makes the show compelling enough to see a continuation of the series.
