I'm a huge High School DxD fan so I had to get this for my collection. This volume starts the story out very well and introduces the characters very well too. A must buy for any DxD fan! (I got Volume 2 and 3 with it also.)
Highschool dxd manga

I watched Highschool dxd the anime and i hated it. But the manga is first vol is good. now i never really read a lot manga so it may an average anime but i don't care. If i like something i don't care if people think is average. Now the story is about this teen who a perv they try to make a good story but main character gets in the way. But the manga doesn't have as much fanserve as the anime had way too much . Now i had fun with the manga because i thought of as a comedy so i say buy vol 1.

I am a huge fan of Highschool DxD and I am slowly adding all of the manga volumes to my collection. I even have fabric posters and playing cards. Issei really is the Harem King!!

If you've watched the anime version, you definitely should give this a try.
The art style is pretty kiddish but the plot is amazing (If you know what I mean ;)
Too bad this doesn't have one of those OVA pages in the back but it's still one of the best fanservice series out there.
