Not As good a previous seasons

I'll be honest I like this series fan service and all but this 4th season just grated too much. First off there was some character redesign that just seemed to make the animation look off, second was the stupid episode 0 which was a waste and down graded the climax from season 3 to trivial trash, third I got a feeling no one associated with it gave hoot about it and the feeling I got from them was Ok another season just done for the money. Overall I was less then happy with this season and far less likely to rewatch it.

Simply Amazing

The new art is an aqcuired tastes but easy to get used to and allows for better animation/character expressions. It Retcons the disasters story arc from the previous season and managing to do stay true to the original light novel it was based on this time, managing to do so spectacularly. Hero still has the classic charm and emotional moments that make DxD treat to watch.

Great Show!

This show has a whole lot of fan service, but it has just as much heart!
The characters are loveable, and you get to see them grow in relation to each other and in maturity.
This show is for you if you want action, romance, comedy... and BOOBS!

The fan service is on point, I enjoy the comedy/jokes they do in this season.
Is true that you notice the change in the animation but is not something to worry about. Can't wait to have the next season, the ‘Hero Oppai Dragon’ story arc.

A different kind of echhi experience

by -

It's a decent ecchi with a decent story. The comedy doesn't always land but it definitely has its lol moments. For an ecchi the animation is definitely just as good as other animes like my darling in the franxx. The combat scenes feel like something out of DBZ a lot of yelling, explosions and great animation along with getting powered up.

I would recommend this product of you enjoyed the past three seasons or if your just looking to watch a decent anime with a lot of fan service , decent comedy , an ok story , and awesome fight scenes.

Great job by the new team

I was a little worried when I first saw this was by a different animation studio than the rest, but I was happy to have worried for nothing. The animation matches far more with the manga than the first three seasons do. It also fixes a major detour the previous season took from the source material. I love the story, the voice acting, and the animation. Great work all around by the new team. Quite impressive, especially for how much smaller the new animation team is than the old.
