Alright manga with great art and a slow storyline.

This is something I've wanted to see for a LONG time, a manga adaptation of some of my favorite vocaloid songs.
This manga had spectacular character design and a beautiful background. The plot development was sadly quite slow and at many times boring. I felt no real urge to turn the page as the story failed to hook me in any way.
I'm a huge fan of the bad end night song series and I've seen it AT LEAST 10 times through. The problem with this manga series is the fact that the author is just starting out (this is their first manga) so it seems at those they don't quite understand how to progress the story.
There were also a few awkward parts where they'll introduce a character by using a whole page just to say a simple hello and their name. The whole first half of the book they don't use the characters name like at all other than to introduce them and then the names are overused in the second half. Small things like this build up and caused me to lower my rating of this book.
Bad End Night is so far really good

This was a really good first manga to the bad end night series, one of my favorite vocaloid songs. I love how they adapted it to a manga because it gives you a story on what exactly the bad end night series is about. The plot of it so far just from the first volume is proceeding very well and I can't wait for the next one. The art is amazing and I can tell that this story is going to be great. I have listened to all the bad end night songs(bad end, crazy, twilight, and everlasting) and it is very well fit and compares a lot to the original music videos for it. I'm glad they still kept the vocaloid as the main cast, I couldn't imagine another cast of 8 taking the roles of the beloved vocaloid 8. It's a little sad that they changed Gumi and Gakapo's names. But it might just seem slow at some parts but at other times you just want more, to know what happens next. There's backstory to this as well so that's a mystery to solve too. I hope people enjoy this as much as I did.

The story so far is soooooo good! I like how they take their time to explain what's going on considering how quickly it goes by in the song. The ending of makes you immediately want to hurry up and pick up the next one and everyone I've let borrow it would agree with that. Art style is almost exactly the same as the original music video's and that's nice too.
