Nishino Kanako sure hates her job, and is only too happy to snag the first new gig that comes her way. She never expected that her interview would be at an agency for contract killers…or that she’d be really, really good at bumping people off!

Kanako doesn’t have a ton of self-confidence, and adjusting to her new life as an assassin isn’t the easiest. Will she ever earn the respect of Sakurai, her prickly but kinda hot new coworker? Find out in this dangerously funny, full-color manga!

this is not for me....

I did not find this this funny at all. I did not laugh, crack a smile, or chuckled. It was pretty boring, character and plot wise. The animal puns(?) was annoying. I know it was supposed to be cute but it was dumb. The character is also very plain? I did not feel her personality at all. And all she does is just want to kill anyone that annoys her... I'm not connecting to her character at all. The action sucked. For a dark job (although this is comedy), I expected some decent action panels. I do love the the covers! They're so pretty and colorful. The quality feels nice and I love the color pages. The art is also very good too. It's just a shame that I really did not like this manga.

Can't wait for Vol.3

Best thing I've read all year and I've been collecting quite a bit. It is full-color and feels like a fresh step forward for yonkoma structured comedy.

Not bad

I bought this for someone else so idk for sure what they'll think, personally it's not my cup of tea, the dinosaur puns are pointless and the main character is just a terrible person though that may be intentional, the actual set up for the story is pretty funny.

Animal Puns, Gun Accidents, and Misunderstandings

Picked up on a whim to check out and was suprised it was full color. Usually that is a turn off for me, but this title definitely is a good fit. Going in, it makes it very clear that it is pun heavy. The jokes are chuckle worthy at points, but don't expect anything clever, more just dumb (not in a bad way). The plot is pretty shallow, but I really didn't expect anything too deep or heavy for this title. Definitely will pick up the follow ups slowly, but not 100% commited to getting them all based on how the next few volumes go. I can sense a bit of monotony unless they switch it up going forward, but this volume was definitely worth the read.

A comedy of errors, and puns.

Woman interviews for a new job. The new job is as a hitman. This misunderstanding sets the stage. The absent-mindedness / klutziness is paired with insane natural talent that's essentially "lethal Freudian slips". Mix in insecurity and garnish with puns, and you have the series.

It's not deep, wholesome, horrifying, serious, story-driven or dramatic. There's a big aspect of wish-fulfillment. It feels like a newspaper comic gathered together. There's just enough story to tie a series of related gag-strips together.

Volume 1 feels vaguely as though it was a Seinfeld episode about hitmen.

It's not good, clean fun, but it's good, mindless fun.
