I think it's going to be a regularly occurring feeling of awe in how much is packed into these volumes because there always feels like SO much has taken place, but probably the biggest "takeaway" from this volume is that Tanaka is awesome!

I mean, I KNEW this, but seeing it in the manga just hits differently. I honestly can't wait to see how he grows and becomes the future ace because there is something so powerful about his character that you can't help but get pumped to watch him!

Oh, I want to also add that The Great King is…wow! He is an incredible character! Definitely sort of a jerk (LOL), but hearing his internal thoughts of what makes a great setter does make me respect him more than I did in the anime. LOL!

The ending match between Date Tech and Karasuno was INTENSE! And goodness, the match now between Aoba Johsai is just as intense if not more so! Karasuno is being challenged in a way they haven't yet and all I can do is hold onto my volume and keep binge reading…
