Ratings & Reviews
Excellent series, highly recommended!
Great series, fantastic finale, price a bit high

Other than price, there isn't a complaint to be had about Gurren Lagann's US release.
Audio and video quality are impeccable, and it looks and sounds amazing. Be aware it is an upscale, however, as it was not originally animated for 1080p.
The series finale leaves you feeling satisfied, but the curve ball, the one you tell yourself "it's not possible they'll just leave it like this," actually occurs and the series ends lightly upbeat for some, quite somber for others.
An outstanding end to a brilliant series, one to be remembered. The contents of the blu-ray are just a bonus
FIGHT THE GREATNESS!!!

Finally got to the final set and I loved the ending even though it made me sad but to me the ending was satisfying for me.
Hope to see more from this studio.
Got all 5 just to say I did the impossible and seen the invisible

If you are reading this after the previous 3 (idk what happened to the first blu ray) then your probably considering buying the series in different chunks rather than the all on one sets. TTGL was difficult to find in blu ray prior to its anniversary so i jumped the gun and got all 5 for a hefty price. Did I get what i paid for? I have no regrets being that this IS my favorite anime and all the boxes have their own unique artwork, I display the boxes the included posters, and some figures and statues that I got later on and putting it all together looks nice. If you just want the story then I recommend getting the cheaper under 200 version of the story, but If you want a visual representation of your favorite anime get it in chunks. No aluminum can, ammunition canister, book, disk combo, ect can beat 5 blu rays laid out with their posters.
last episode looks amazing in 1080p omg...4k where you at?
