From what I understand, the back story in this volume is some of the content that's exclusive to the manga. Probably one of, if not the strongest volume in the story so far. There's a lot of characters here that I thought for sure we'd never see again, so if you were worried that a character you liked was killed off for good, you'll be happy to know that they're still here for the flashbacks. I really enjoyed this volume - pick it up!
