Just Terrible...

Being a long-time fan of the series, I was excited when I heard there was a novel written for it. However, I was in for a rude awakening upon reading. To say the writing was awful is a compliment. It sounded like some silly fan fiction pulled straight off the internet, including the 6th grade level of writing. Books such as the Haruhi series may be considered 'light novels,' but they are still a hundred times better written.
