Golden Time the Complete Collection contains episodes 1-24.
Banri Tada has seen his share of trouble, but now he's leaving that behind him and entering law school. Or that was the plan, but on the first day of class, he finds himself lost and wandering. Fortunately, while trying to resolve his predicament, he meets Mitsuo, a fellow law student, and together they head to class. Only to be suddenly confronted with a beautiful woman who, much to Banri's surprise, slaps Mitsuo in the face with a bouquet of roses. She's Koko Kaga, Mitsuo's self-appointed future bride. He may have new friends, but if Banri thought his problems were over, he'll have to cross-examine his conclusion. Together they'll juggle life, love and more than a little drama.

Ratings & Reviews
booo no english dubbed
waste of time buying this animation show because no english dubbed
Fantastic romantic comedy for the literate
Excellent story. Interesting plot, interesting characters who actually develop and an appropriate mix of both excellent comedy and intense drama. You can't find a better romantic comedy- and it's in the original language?! Waaa, how dare they!
Excellent Romcom, now in a more convenient package.
Golden Time is part romcom, part slice of life, and part mystery as the main character, suffering from amnesia related to an accident at the end of high school, enters college and basically begins his life again fresh. Golden Time is very grounded, the characters are complex and go through real interpersonal struggles. The amnesia is a factor, but isn't used unnecessarily. I would also like to point out that the second opening is probably one of the best I have ever seen, especially for a romcom. I would use the word stunning, to describe how well it fits with the show and the tone. The characters grow over the two seasons, there are genuine laughs and some really gut wrenching tears. You WILL enjoy this show if you give it a chance.
Unfortunately this release is still sub-only but don't let that dissuade you. Some shows are worth the annoyance of reading the lines, and this one is definitely worth it. I hold out hope for a dub in the future but for now this will do.
A must have for those who enjoy romantic comedy
5 out 5 Romantic touch of comedy
Good character plot & development
excellent animation and quality
unique character dialogue
Great Romance, Good Show

I'm a huge fan of the majority of the Romance anime adapted by J.C. Staff and have recently finished Hi Score Girl which was excellent, and I can't wait for Netflix to release the OVA's. Golden Tme is also a great show when it comes to it's more romantic elements. I enjoyed it back in the day when it was first airing but didn't buy it due to the price of each individual release and the lack of an English Dub. But despite no dub and the shows other problems I still vowed to purchase it in the hopes Sentai decides to Dub it. It happened after FIVE LONG YEARS for Toradora so I believe it'll happen for show!
PS. Also just let it be noted that despite my preference being English Dubs I still love watching Toradora subbed on occasion because I have such an emotional attachment to that series and had nothing but subbed for 5 years.
So totally under-rated!!!

Though it absolutely should have a quality Dub, the Sub is under-rated and worth your time! I enjoy the sub’d Golden Time more than a dub’d Toradora, so this is an elite anime in the genre. Definitely buying GT again when it gets an English Dub.
Animation quality is really good with great writing, except for the one point of contention with some ... the method of addressing one little aspect of the main character's amnesia just seems to fall flat compared to the rest of the story line (it’s the only real negative, and a minor distraction to an otherwise great story). There is definitely character depth and development, with a good balance of humor and drama. I am left wanting the story to continue, but yet still satisfied with the ending.
(And someone please please please release a figure with the exorcist pose ... I'm laughing just thinking about it now!)
