About Goblin Slayer Season 1 Blu-ray/DVD

Goblin Slayer Season 1 contains episodes 1-12 of the anime directed by Takaharu Ozaki.

The Adventurer’s Guild thinks goblin quests are low rank fodder; something for trainees to handle. But one silver ranked adventurer sees goblins for what they really are—monsters to be driven back to their caves—Goblin Slayer in tow.

Normally handling the dirty work alone, Goblin Slayer has a chance encounter with a porcelain ranked priestess who’s eager to help him out. And with a recent increase in goblin attacks, he’ll need all the help he can get.

Special Features: Goblin Slayer: Tabletop Talk, Episode 11 Commentary, Textless Songs.

One the Best Animes of 2019

by

A very violent story of revenge its 17+ (tv-ma) rating is well earned theirs just a bit of fan service our main character has been scarred by an attack by goblins on his small village where he witnessed his older sister being brutalized and killed while hiding as a kid. He usually does his thing alone but saves a young priestess from death and they team up and eventually ends up with a team of other adventurers who came looking for him he does loosen up in later episodes. I really like the fact strategy and tactics he learned are used and that they don't just rush into a fight. Their isn't much I didn't like about this series and would really love a second season I giving a 5 rating here and a 9.5 on a 10 scale I highly recommend it for older fans.

Be very very quiet I'm hunting for a goblin eh eh eh eh eh !!

This anime will make you want to kill goblins even more. Boys and girls get your pitchforks, swords, guns, knives, bombs etc it goblin hunting time. The tv series will never get you tired or disappointed. The only thing I was hoping for was real names for the characters, but anyway if you are into dungeon and dragons then this is an enjoyable anime adventure. The Bluray and dvd graphics are not much different but, the story line is great. Over all what it gives you the essential and that is just good enough.

A 90s role playing game in anime form

I finally got around to watch this anime. I seen the first episode a whike back and wasnt really impressed. I think because, the person that told me to watch it. Compared it to berserk and i went in with a hard pre-thought of it. So time past and i randomly perchased it from work. Surprisingly enough it grew on me and every episode got better.

Its a GREAT ANIME.

Give the Dice a Roll, Watch This Show!

This is a dark show, and I love it. It is not quite as black as Berserk, but, if you like yourself some dark fantasy, and have not yet given this a go, jump on it. You won't regret it.

There is something about going on the adventures with Goblin Slayer, and watching how each member of his party (and Cow Girl--yes that is her name) influence him and help him grow.

While this show does have some great action in it, that is not all Goblin Slayer brings to the party. There are some genuinely engaging characters and some heart felt moments this the show.

Give it a watch, you won't regret it. And, if you have not yet read the manga and the light novels, I recommend those, too!

A truly great story.

This is possibly my favorite dramatic anime.
It's the story of a rookie adventurer's first time out turning into a horror. She's close to be mentally broken when our title character is able to rescue her.
From these story beginnings the viewer embarks on a journey of one girl's trying to aid in the mental recovery of her "hero" who she recognizes as truly traumatized and broken. Their partnership drags her steadily toward his darkness as he's dragged slowly toward her light.
This is a profoundly violent story with a lot of graphic death, torture and assault. It's not for the faint of heart.
Who it is for is everyone! If you are looking for a story that will make you think about the human condition and what strains it makes on the mind, THIS IS FOR YOU!
If you are looking for a battle anime with lots of violence and Gore, THIS IS FOR YOU!!
The genius of a story like this is that it allows you to take away from it whatever you bring.

Any goblins?

Goblin Slayer tells the tale of a awkward young man that slowly starts to open up. Scarred by the tragic events from his past and his inability to act, he trained and specialized in doing one thing. Slaying goblins. This leads others to seek him out for his expertise and the story that unfolds helps to evolve.

This series is very bloody and very good. One of the few anime’s that I’ve binged watch this year. If you like fantasy, this is one you should not pass out. Can’t wait for season two in 2021!
