Go For It Nakamura! Manga

I absolutely adored this manga. It was sweet, funny, charming, and perfectly captured the experience of being an introvert with a crush. I had heard a lot of good things about this manga and was thrilled to see that it was being translated.

I definitely recommend it if you'd like to smile the whole way through reading and need a cute little feel good story.

I also really wish I had a pet octopus too!

This manga hit my sweet spot! It's legitimately funny without any of the jokes being because Nakamura is gay (a legit concern, given how past titles in the manga world have been).
If you like stories of high schoolers having unrequited crushes on people that they can't even just tell them about said crush in the first place, this title is perfect!
I just wish there were more!

Go for it, Nakamura is such a cute story with adorable art to follow. It perfectly captures what it's like to have a crush as a teen and how you question every move you make. Such a wholesome story and it's only a one shot. Definitely check this one out!

I went into this with high expectations, given the glowing reviews I've seen here and elsewhere, and thankfully they were fully met, if not exceeded. I was introduced to Syundei via their other work Total Eclipse of the Eternal Heart, which I adored, but which could not be more tonally different from Go For It, Nakamura. They are clearly a versatile writer, not to mention great storyteller and artist, so I hope more of their books get English publications.

The title character is a quirky, socially awkward gay boy struggling through getting closer to his crush, and navigates misadventures that come along the way. Nakamura is incredibly relatable, he might as well have been me in high school, and the back-and-forth between him and Hirose is so cute. We also have a memorable supporting cast of friends, rivals, and others that help bring the world to life. I do hope we see more of our protagonists in the future, because these characters deserve more stories!

This is literally gay panic the manga and I love it. It's really a comedy there really isn't any romance but a lot of gay panic from Nakamuras side. It's really cute though I do wish there was more concerning feelings and romance though not necessarily to make it the focus.

I was recommended this book by a friend and decided to check it out and I definitely didn’t regret it. I don’t usually go for single volumes but this was really cute and I absolutely adored it. Without giving to much away this is a story of a boy (nakamura) who has a crush on another boy from his school. I found nakamura to be a really likable, funny, relatable character. I really recommend to anyone who wants a short innocent BL story. Have a nice day! 💕

This was SUCH a cute story and i'm absolutely in love with the humor and how adorable both Nakamura and Hirose are. I love how the story captures the essence of falling in love with your crush in a comedic way! The "romance" aspect perfectly fits these teenage character and didn't get too adult-y. Overall, I really loved rooting for Nakamura and Hirose's relationship and i'm happy they are friends at last! (I wish this story was longer uhuhu)

If you're an awkward queer then this is the story for you. Each chapter has so many funny moments that feel natural. Also Nakamura's terrible luck and shyness is something you find yourself easily relating to. The story is so good I wish there was a sequel!

I really loved this manga it was a great read and was also super funny. When I first bought it I didn't know it was in the lgbtq+ genre but that just made it better.
P.S I can't wait for the sequel!!!

Probably my favorite BL. Amazing main character and pretty funny too. I also really like this art-style it’s nice and unique.
