Fave BL Series
by Shakira
Kizu does a phenomenal job at pulling on the heartstrings of her readers. It makes sense that both of the main characters play the guitar. There’s always a connection between music and heartache. It can hurt and it can heal. Then, there’s the way she uses seasons to show the importance of her characters feelings. All of these elements make this series so beautiful. Throughout the story, I found this arc to be the most heart wrenching. Although, it’s a work of fiction you can’t help but see the humanity in these characters through their flaws.
MUST READ

After watching given (anime), I really wanted to read the manga and continue the story of Mafuyu and Ritsuka, as well as the others! This has got to be in my top 5 BL's. All the couples are unique and have their own problems, but each equally as cute. I'm completely invested and think if you into BL this is a must.
Ugh, the heartstrings

There's a reason this series is "acclaimed" in the BL community. There's consistent tension between characters, romances you can really invest yourself in, and beautiful art.
I would say more, but I like to air on the side of caution when it comes to spoiling things in my reviews. Whether you're looking at vol. 5 because you're debating continuing the series or you're looking at starting it, it's definitely worth your time.
